POP-UP Paper Marbling Workshop
Bring the ancient art of Turkish paper marbling (Ebru) directly to your event. This fully mobile workshop is guided by Gökce, a professional marbling artist specializing in Ebru since 2014, and is designed to create a relaxing, engaging, and memorable experience for both small and large groups. Perfect for company events, conferences, team-building activities, festivals, receptions, private celebrations, and community gatherings.

What You'll Experience
Participants discover the centuries-old Turkish art of Ebru, where colorful natural pigments are painted directly onto the surface of water and then transferred onto paper to create unique marbled designs. The workshop combines live demonstrations, hands-on participation, and creative exploration, making it suitable for complete beginners as well as guests with artistic experience. Because participants can join throughout the event, the workshop works especially well for events with a continuous flow of attendees rather than a fixed classroom-style schedule.
How the Workshop Works
The POP-UP setup uses one large 110 × 75 cm marbling tray where up to four participants can create together at the same time. Each painting round lasts approximately 10 minutes. Participants rotate through the tray throughout the event. Every participant creates their own individual marbled artwork to take home. I provide demonstrations, guidance, and individual support throughout the session while leaving plenty of room for creativity and experimentation. The collaborative nature of the shared tray naturally encourages conversation, curiosity, and interaction between participants, making it a wonderful social activity for corporate and private events alike.
As an optional collaborative element, the individual marbled artworks created during the event can later be collaged into one larger communal artwork. This creates a unique visual representation of the group’s shared experience and can be purchased after completion if desired.

Practical Information
I will arrive several hours before the event to complete the setup and prepare the marbling materials. After the workshop, additional time is required for cleanup and packing down the equipment. Completed artworks need time to dry, so a small drying area at the venue will be required during the event.
Cancellation Policy
As the marbling materials require extensive preparation in advance, cancellations must be made at least 7 days before the scheduled event. For cancellations made after this deadline, 50% of the workshop price will be charged.
